Yesterday was #NationalSiblingsDay when you should celebrate your brother and sisters. However, sibling rivalry over inheritance can cause lasting rifts in relationships. You can avoid this by making provisions in your Will. Never make one of your children dependent on the goodwill of another child. Don’t expect a child to take care of his sibling or “do the right thing,” whatever you think that may be. Never put property in joint names with one child expecting that child to share with his siblings.
